Hello, my name is Howie and I am a black and white shih tzu. Though I am the smallest, I am very much the alpha of my little pack here! I am a social butterfly, it is my duty to be the welcoming committee to everyone I meet. So, if you ever see me around town, give me a scratch and I will be your best friend forever!

I compete some in obedience, but I much prefer agility. I compete at the masters level in agility and am quite the little athlete. I even took high in trial at the Shih Tzu Nationals in 2005, when I had only been competing for a few months! I am a very competitive fellow; I am currently working my way up in breed ranking, and work hard at staying one step ahead of my brother, Harry. I had to take 6 months off from my favorite sport when I had back injury in 2006, and that was no fun at all. I am very happy to be back and am eager to show everyone just what this little shih tzu can do.

When I'm not busy doing agility or keeping the rest of the household in line, I take my job of holding the softest pillow in the house down very seriously! Seeing as to how I AM a prince, I certainly appreciate the finer things in life.
